Study at HS Mannheim

General Information

If you are currently studying at a foreign university and are interested in studying at the Department Engineering and Management of Hochschule Mannheim - University of Applied Sciences, you can find further information about our program on this website. We hope that some of your questions can already be answered here.

Detailed information regarding the organisation of your stay in Mannheim (application, accommodation etc.) can be found on the homepage.

General Support for Exchange Students

Exchange students mainly receive information from and are supported by two institutions: The  International Office as well as us, the Department of Engineering and Management. While the  International Office mainly handles administrative issues (admission, visa issues and matriculation) as well as accommodation and German language courses, the Department deals with the more academic aspects, especially course offer, course advice.

Application and Admission

If you are a student at one of our partner universities and would like to study in Mannheim for one or two semesters, you need to apply for an exchange slot at your home university. Please contact your International Relations Coordinator for information on application criteria and deadlines.

Course Offering

Our courses offered are published online around end of February (for the following spring semester) and end of August (for the following fall semester) respectively. As most of our courses at the Department of Engineering and Management are offered in a yearly rhythm, our previous spring or fall semester course list is a good indicator of which courses will likely be offered again during the coming spring or fall. However, some changes do occur. You can find the current course offer here.

Accomodation, health insurance etc.

All information on accommodation, health insurance, German language courses and much more can be found on the International Office's website.
