Please contact the International Office at your university for information on the application procedure for a placement.

Your home institution nominates you

If your application for placement at your home institution was successful, you must be officially nominated by your university to study at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences.

Registration in our database

Once as we receive the nomination from your home instituion, you will receive a link to our registration platform.

Complete application

After you have registered in our database, you will receive a link for online application. Please complete the application as soon as possible.

During the application process, the following documents must be uploaded:

• Curriculum vitae
• Letter of motivation
• Transcript of records
• Proof of German/English knowledge, depending on the courses you plan to take
• For Erasmus students: Erasmus+ Learning Agreement

Once your application has been sent, HMA will process and confirm the approval of your application. You can see your submitted application at any time by logging into the application portal. Here your submitted application is saved as a pdf file.

Letter of admission

Once your application has been subited, you will receive an official acceptance/rejection of admission via e-mail.
